Dear Parents,
It was so great to see so many of you at our Third Grade Math Night! I hope you found the information about Fractions(our biggest math unit) and fact fluency with addition, subtraction, and multiplication useful!
Monday, February 17 is a Teacher Workday.
Please return the pink Field Trip Form with the front and back filled out Tuesday if you haven't done so. Thanks! Also, please email me if you would like to chaperone!
Next week in ELA, we will continue to compare and contrast Peter Pan and Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens. We will explore subject/verb agreement. We will recount stories and determine the lesson or message. Additionally, we will answer questions in complete sentences by referring back into the text.
In math, we will wrap up Area and Perimeter. We will finish our treehouse designs, find all the possible areas when the perimeter is known, find the perimeter with unknown side lengths, and solve word problems that involve area and perimeter. We will take our Area and Perimeter Post Test/Assessment on Friday.
In science, we will explore the planets and their order from the sun.
In social studies, we will continue economics.
